One of the most popular marketing strategies among IM marketers is article writing. But the sad reality is that few marketers really understand or know how to write compelling and effective articles. Most amateurs assume that article writing is easy. Rest assured, though, this is certainly something you can learn how to do well. 
You’ll learn how to write articles that are easy for others to read and enjoy. 
Another valuable skill available to you is writing articles that generate traffic to your offers.

Ok, always keep in mind that online readers have really short attention spans. You’ll find that most just don’t care to read anything of any length. Your articles need not be, should not be, works of literary length. For article marketing purposes, you’ll want to keep it at about 400 words plus or minus - no more than 500. If you write more than five hundred words you run the risk of losing your reader’s attention. But if you’re a good writer, and experienced, then you can write beyond that amount. 
We’re not your English teacher, so just a reminder that it is important to get that pesky grammar and spelling correct. At a bare minimum, be sure to check with your word processor. It’s understandable to miss one or two, but you’ll be flirting with disaster if you have a lot of them. A lot of mistakes will compel people to mistrust you on different levels. Sometimes breaking the rules of grammar is a good thing. Generally the safest route is adhering to the rules of English.
Shorter paragraphs are better than longer paragraphs. In English class you were taught to take each major idea and fully develop it in a paragraph. That is something you can forget about here. Online readers are impatient, with short attention spans, and they want the information very quickly. So using shorter paragraphs will help accomplish this goal. You should also include line breaks between your paragraphs. People scan online, so don’t indent your paragraphs, either. It’s a fact that online readers are terrific scanners of information, so your short paras will help them do that. 
Article writing is a skill that every internet marketer should work to master. You can learn how to get the clicks as well as getting your points across. After some time, if you can afford it you’ll be able to hire ghost writers to do your article writing chores. But before you get to that point, learning how to write articles that get the job done will be necessary for you to do. But don’t stress out too much about it. You will get the hang of it eventually!
